Creating a CyberSource Sandbox Account:
Step 1: Begin by navigating to the CyberSource signup page. Here, you’ll initiate the process of creating your sandbox account.

Step 2: Provide essential details, including a memorable alphanumeric Merchant ID, and complete the required fields.
Step 3: Agree to the terms and conditions by ticking the respective checkbox, then proceed to click “Create Account.”
Step 4: Upon completion, you’ll receive an email containing pertinent information. Click on the provided link to access the merchant-level user interface.
Step 5: Enter the Organization ID and contact email received in the email. Submit the details to proceed.
Step 6: Input your First Name, Last Name, and Username, then move forward by clicking “Next Step.”
Step 7: Create a password that meets the specified requirements and finalize the process by clicking “Create User.”
Step 8: Upon successful acceptance of the password, proceed to the login screen and access your newly created account.
Setting Up API Keys:
Step 1: With your account set up, it’s time to generate API keys for authentication purposes.
Step 2: Navigate to the Payment Configuration section and click on Key Management from the left panel.
Step 3: Select the option to Generate Key.
Step 4: Choose “Rest – Shared Secret” and initiate the key generation process.
Step 5: Upon generation, securely store the provided key, as it serves as your secret key required for authentication.
Step 6: Return to the Key Management section to ensure the generated key is visible. If not, adjust the filter settings accordingly.
Step 7: Retrieve the “Key Detail,” which serves as your key ID, essential for authentication alongside the secret key.
Step 8: Congratulations! Your CyberSource sandbox is now configured to facilitate payment processing testing.
